Resolution
Grandma suggested to make a thunder cake to make them busy to forget about the thunder storm. When the cake was finished, the little girl realized that she was so brave and that she was not scared of thunder storm anymore.

2. Why do we first se lightning and after that we hear thunder?
Lightning and thunder happens at the same time. But we always see lightning before we hear thunder because light travels a hundred thousand times faster than sound. by Ka Ying
3. How do we know how far away is a thunderstorm?
The sound of the thunder needs 5 seconds to travel only 1 mile.
When you see the lightning you start counting seconds. If you count 5 seconds after the lightning a thunderstorm is 1 mile
away. But if you count 30 seconds a thunderstorm is 6 miles away. by Leo
